What might you like people to know about you as a writer? What you like people to know about you as a person?

I write to inspire and encourage others. Everyone has a story to tell, whether it's to leave a family legacy or share a personal journey. Growing up I was always the quiet person who did not want to speak in public. It wasn't until after I turned 50 yrs old that I did more with my humor writing. I have always loved humor, but it has now taken me in directions that were not on my vision board (ha). It continues to be a fun journey.

YpsiWrites' theme this year is "Write for Change." Given this theme, what type of change do you think your writing inspires and what are your reasons for doing this writing?

I believe my writing encourages, informs, and inspires. It inspires personal growth, can encourage the reader to step out of their comfort zone and try something they've always wanted to try. My reason for writing is that it brings me joy. It also feels good when someone else enjoys my writing.
