Feedback and revision are crucial steps in the writing process. UWC consultants can provide clarification, point out areas for improvement, and inspire new ideas. It is a judgment-free and feedback-rich way to share and improve your work. Remember, writing is a highly collaborative process!
Written feedback involves a trained consultant from the University Writing Center at Eastern Michigan University reviewing your submitted work and providing written comments and suggestions via email. Our writing consultants are trained as generalists. This means they are happy to comment on most forms of writing.
In order to receive feedback, please send an email to ypsiwrites@gmail.com that includes your name and email address with a request for written feedback. Within 48-72 hours you will receive an email from EMU University Writing Center via noreply@mywconline.com. This email will contain instructions on how to log in to your account at WCOnline, which will enable you to submit your feedback to an EMU consultant. Please note that submissions are limited to five (5) double-spaced pages. You are able to submit up to three (3) requests per week.
If you do not receive an email with account login information within 48-72 hours, or if you have trouble scheduling your feedback request once you are in WCOnline, please contact ypsiwrites@gmail.com.
