Writing is important because you can communicate with other people even though you are far away!

I can’t imagine a world without because nothing that we’re doing right now would be possible. On the laptop there would be no words -- just colors without words! Everything would be blank and super weird!

We wouldn’t be able to have names without writing! Writing can help us make laws for our community. I like to write stories and letters. 

People write things down to send a letter because you want to tell someone something who is far away, over the rainbow.

I write in order to figure out what I think, to refer back to the things I thought a long time ago, to share the stories of others, and to communicate information that can help empower communities and create change.

I write in a journal to express my feelings. Writing helps me stay organized!
