Join YpsiWrites’ Writer in Residence, Angelica Esquivel, for this two-part series where participants will be led through the process of drafting and revising an original piece of flash fiction–a short story of a thousand words or less. The first session will consist of writing exercises and drafting a story. The second session will include a peer-review workshop for participating writers to refine and revise their pieces of flash fiction. Attendance at both sessions is encouraged but not required. This workshop is part of Angelica’s “Envisioning Ypsi: Histories and Futures” residency program, and stories created at this event are invited to be submitted to the anthology Angelica is developing during her residency.
